This privacy policy explains how I, Bea Pereira, collect and use your personal information when you contact me, book a consultation or treatment, or use my website at beapereira.co.uk. I am the data controller for the information you share with me. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, you can reach me at hello@beapereira.co.uk.

Who I am

I am Bea Pereira, a permanent makeup artist working from a private studio in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol. I offer ombré and nano brows, lip blush and lip neutralisation.

The information I collect

Depending on how you interact with me, I may collect:

  • Contact and enquiry details: your name, email address, the treatment you are interested in, and anything you tell me in your message.
  • Photos you choose to share: any images you upload through my enquiry form, and before and after photos taken during your appointment.
  • Health and treatment information: at your consultation and before treatment I ask about your medical history, medications, allergies, skin conditions and anything that affects whether a treatment is safe for you, along with your patch test result. This is health information, which is treated as a special category of personal data.
  • Booking and payment information: if you pay a deposit or for a treatment, the payment is handled by a third party payment provider (Revolut Pay or Stripe). I do not see or store your full card details.
  • Website information: basic technical information such as your device and how you use the site, collected through cookies and similar technology.

How I use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange your consultation or appointment. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and my legitimate interest in running my business.
  • To provide your treatment safely and keep proper records. Lawful basis: performing our contract and, for health information, your explicit consent and the provision of health treatment.
  • To meet my insurance, health and safety and legal obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation and legitimate interests.
  • To use before and after photos publicly, for example on my website or Instagram, only where you have given separate, explicit consent. You can withdraw this consent at any time.

Health information and photos

I only collect health information so that I can carry out treatments safely, and I keep it confidential and secure. I take before and after photos as part of your treatment record. I will only share a photo publicly if you have given me clear, separate permission, and you can ask me to stop using it at any time by emailing hello@beapereira.co.uk.

Who I share your information with

I do not sell your information. I share it only where necessary with:

  • Service providers who help me run my business and website, such as my website host, email provider and the tools that process my enquiry form and any payments. These providers act on my instructions.
  • Anyone I am required to share it with by law, for example insurers, regulators or authorities.

How long I keep it

I keep your enquiry information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. I keep treatment and health records for as long as required for insurance, safety and legal reasons, and then delete them securely.

Cookies

My website uses cookies to help it work and to understand how visitors use it. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Turning some cookies off may affect how the site works.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how I use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time where I rely on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email me at hello@beapereira.co.uk and I will respond within the time limits set by law.
